Voyager 3 is a concept mission that sends space telescope to the interstellar medium in reasonable amount of time. would take direct image an exoplanet using solar gravitational lensing at distance 550 astronomical unit (AU). The spacecraft use its suite scientific instruments study environment local system and finalize primary by imaging exoplanet. Two potential architectures are proposed meet this directive, multiple assists sizable electric propulsion burns achieve high escape speeds necessary reach AU. This paper expands on science objectives, trajectory, preliminary design baseline spacecraft.
